Highlights:

  • Production of three high-grade concentrates with strong recovery rates.

  • Metallurgical testwork underscores the site's commercial significance.

  • Further processing optimization planned for enhanced efficiency.

Terra Metals (ASX:TM1), listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, has made significant progress at its Dante Reefs project in Western Australia. The project, focused on copper, gold, and platinum group metals, has shown strong metallurgical results, reinforcing its commercial significance in the sector.

Breakthrough Metallurgical Results

Recent metallurgical testwork at Dante Reefs has resulted in the successful production of three high-grade concentrates. The testing utilized straightforward and cost-effective methods, yielding favorable recovery rates and grade compositions. The outcomes include a copper-gold-PGM sulphide concentrate, a vanadium-magnetite concentrate, and a titanium-ilmenite concentrate.

The copper-gold-PGM sulphide concentrate demonstrated a high copper grade alongside measurable gold and platinum group metals content. Recovery rates for copper, gold, and PGMs were strong, underscoring the efficiency of the applied techniques. The vanadium-magnetite concentrate exhibited a vanadium composition exceeding grades achieved by several ASX-listed vanadium companies. Meanwhile, the titanium-ilmenite concentrate delivered a grade surpassing typical magnetic separation outputs from major hard rock ilmenite producers.

Strategic Metallurgical Advancements

The robust grades and recovery efficiencies from the testwork indicate a commercially viable pathway for material extraction at Dante Reefs. By leveraging established processing methods, Terra Metals has been able to optimize resource recovery, reinforcing the project's long-term operational strategy.

With these results, Terra Metals is now preparing for the next phase of metallurgical optimization. The planned testwork will refine processing parameters, enhancing both metal recoveries and concentrate grades. Additionally, efforts will be directed toward resource estimation to further define the project's mineral inventory.

Dante Reefs’ Industry Positioning

The strong metallurgical outcomes at Dante Reefs highlight the project's role within the global metals market. The production of high-quality concentrates aligns with industry demand, positioning Terra Metals among key industry participants in the extraction and processing of valuable metals.

Company leadership emphasizes a methodical approach to project development, with systematic testwork forming the foundation for ongoing progress. Further refinements and resource delineation are expected to drive continued advancements, reinforcing the project's broader commercial significance.
