  • Star Copper expands exploration efforts in British Columbia
  • New zones identified across key mineralised targets
  • Historic data strengthens groundwork for upcoming campaigns

Star Copper has taken a strategic step forward in advancing its mineral exploration initiatives by expanding its footprint in the well-known Golden Triangle region of northwestern British Columbia. This move follows the confirmation of an extensive mineralised system within the company’s flagship Star Project.

As part of its ongoing campaign, Star Copper is concentrating on deepening its understanding of the mineralisation present at key zones including Star Main, Copper Creek, Star North, and Star East. These locations were historically identified, and renewed exploration aims to build upon previous findings. Notably, this effort aligns with broader market interest in resource-focused companies, though Star Copper is not among the ASX100 companies.

A recently completed field program at the Copper Creek area helped validate the historical significance of the site. Explorers successfully located legacy drill collar sites, evidenced by the presence of vintage drilling tools still on site. The collection of rock samples from mineralised outcrops further supports past records and lays a geospatial foundation for the project’s future direction.

In a notable development, four additional zones adjacent to the Star Main area have been identified. These “fingers,” as described in the company's updates, are considered potentially connected to the broader mineralised environment. Their proximity and characteristics make them important targets as Star Copper looks to assess whether they can contribute to a more extensive and continuous system.

Copper Creek, located southeast of current drilling activity at the Main Zone, holds historical importance. It has been known since the 1930s and is now being reconsidered as either a complementary satellite deposit or an extension of the primary system.

Star Copper continues to focus on advancing its exploration portfolio within favorable mining jurisdictions. With prior drilling already showing open mineralisation both in depth and lateral extent, the current campaign seeks to expand those boundaries further.

By reinforcing the historical data with new field work and identifying untapped adjacent zones, Star Copper appears poised to strengthen its exploration prospects within the resource-rich Golden Triangle region. The next steps in the campaign are expected to further shape the company’s strategic direction across its British Columbia holdings.
