 Performance of S&P/ASX200: A Quick Glance  

Equity market of Australia ended the day in green on 14th February 2020 and the benchmark index i.e., S&P/ASX200 settled at 7130.2 with a rise of 0.4%. At the close of same day, All Ordinaries stood at 7227.1 up by 22.5 points. Let us now look at the performance of some sectors. S&P/ASX 200 Health Care (Sector) experienced a rise of 156.5 points and stood at 47,557.1. S&P/ASX 200 Financials (Sector) inched up by 85.9 points and stood at 6,486.6.

Some companies performed well and were the gainers for the day. Pinnacle Investment Management Group Limited (ASX:PNI) ended in green as stock rose by 4.706 % and settled at 6.230 per share . AVITA Medical Ltd (ASX:AVH) stood at $0.815, which rose by 3.822%.

Let’s have a walkthrough of gainers and losers at NZX Main Board. New Talisman Gold Mines Limited (NZX: NTL) settled with a rise of 16.67% at NZ$0.007 per share. Blackwell Global Holdings Limited (NZX: BGI) witnessed an increase of 16.67% on an intraday basis and closed at NZ$0.007. When it comes to the stocks which ended in red, SeaDragon Limited (NZX: SEA) closed at NZ$0.002 per share with a decline of 33.33%.

Pinnacle Investment Management Group Limited ended in green

Pinnacle Investment Management Group Limited (ASX:PNI) has recently announced that Lorraine Berends has made a change to the holdings in the company by acquiring 5,000 ordinary shares for a consideration of $30,000 on 11th February 2020. Post-change, Lorraine Berends possesses 20,832 ordinary shares in the company. In another update, the company announced that FIL Limited and the entities have become a substantial holder in the company on 10th February 2020 with the voting power of 5.10%.

On the financial front, the company reported net profit after tax amounting to $13.8 million in 1H FY20 from continuing operations attributable to shareholders. This reflects a rise of 36.6% as compared to $10.1 million in the prior corresponding period. During 1H FY20, the company managed to declared fully franked interim dividend of 6.9 Cents per share (or CPS) reflecting an increase of 13.1% from 6.1 cents in prior corresponding period

AVITA Medical Ltd experienced a rise of 3.822% on ASX

AVITA Medical Ltd (ASX:AVH) announced that it will give a presentation at the Cowen 40th Annual Health Care Conference in Boston on 4th March 2020.

The company also announced that Ms Tamara Barr of Mertons Corporate Services Pty Ltd has stepped down from the role of Joint Company Secretary of AVH with effect from 20th December 2019.
