Highlights

  • E-Power Resources completed the second tranche of its private placement, issuing units priced at five cents each.

  • The total capital raised through both tranches reached over three hundred thousand Canadian dollars.

  • Proceeds are allocated to general working capital as the company advances its graphite exploration in Québec.

E-Power Resources (ASX:EPR), a Canadian-listed exploration company focused on graphite, has successfully completed the second tranche of a previously announced private placement. This development follows a broader strategy to support ongoing mineral exploration activities within Québec, particularly at the company’s primary graphite asset.

Details of the Capital Raise

Under the terms of the second tranche, the company issued several million units at a price per unit of five cents. Each unit included one common share and one-half of a common share purchase warrant. The structure of the warrant provides the right to acquire additional common shares at a price of ten cents per share, exercisable for a period extending five years from the close of the placement.

The second tranche generated over one hundred and sixty thousand Canadian dollars. This follows the earlier closing of the first tranche, which raised approximately one hundred and eighty thousand Canadian dollars. Combined, both tranches of the private placement brought in more than three hundred thousand Canadian dollars.

Use of Funds and Company Focus

The funds raised are earmarked for general working capital purposes, supporting E-Power Resources’ administrative and operational requirements as it continues to evaluate and develop its flagship asset. No specific project developments or milestones were disclosed in association with this capital raise.

E-Power Resources remains in the exploration stage and is principally engaged in acquiring and developing graphite properties. Its operational activities are concentrated in Québec, an established jurisdiction for graphite exploration.

Tetepisca Graphite Property Overview

The company’s principal property is located within the Tetepisca Graphite District, a recognized zone for graphite activity in the North Shore Region of Québec. This area is situated at a significant distance from the deep-sea port of Baie-Comeau, which may offer logistical benefits for future development or transport scenarios.

The Tetepisca Graphite Property comprises more than two hundred claims and spans over twelve thousand hectares. The region is noted for its active graphite exploration and established graphite resources, which have been delineated with measured and indicated grades exceeding a significant graphitic carbon percentage.

Placement Participation and Market Structure

The private placement included participation by individuals associated with the company. These participants acquired units on the same terms as other subscribers in accordance with regulatory exemptions. No changes to share structure or control have been announced in relation to these issuances.

The units and accompanying warrants are subject to customary regulatory conditions, including hold periods. The pricing and exercise structure of the warrants align with longer-term strategies frequently seen in early-stage exploration financing.

Regional Graphite Market Context

The Tetepisca district continues to draw attention as a graphite hub within Canada. E-Power Resources’ property contributes to this narrative, as the area hosts multiple companies pursuing graphite development. The region's measured and indicated graphite resources reflect ongoing exploration activity that has outlined substantial tonnage at notable grades.

The company’s engagement in this district supports the broader trend of advancing exploration in regions with established geological potential. The presence of graphite, a critical material for energy storage applications, underscores the strategic significance of the area.
