Highlights

  • Brunswick Exploration secures full ownership of Mirage Project
  • Company strengthens lithium-focused portfolio in Québec
  • New mineral zones identified through drilling program

Brunswick Exploration (TSX-V:BRW) has taken a major step forward by completing a purchase and sale agreement for the Mirage Lithium Project in Québec, Canada. The move adds to the company’s growing lithium exploration portfolio and comes at a time when interest in battery metals remains high, supported by the broader momentum around ASX 200 stocks.

Strategic Shift from Plex to Mirage

The Mirage Project was originally optioned in early 2023 from Globex Mining Enterprise (TSX:GMX). After meeting the necessary commitments, Brunswick now secures full ownership of the project. To finalize this acquisition, the company has agreed to renounce its option on the Plex Project. As part of the terms, General Partnership Osisko Baie James will provide a payment once specific resource milestones are achieved, further strengthening Brunswick’s financial flexibility.

Mirage Project Overview

The Mirage Project covers a significant land position in the James Bay region of Québec. With hundreds of claims spanning thousands of hectares, the area is considered a highly prospective lithium exploration hub. The scale of the landholding provides Brunswick with ample opportunity to identify and advance multiple mineralized zones across the region.

New Discoveries Through Drilling

Brunswick recently advanced its exploration efforts through a drilling program that revealed several new mineralized dykes within the Mirage Project. These discoveries lie northeast of previously tested areas, expanding the known mineralized footprint. The results underscore the potential of Mirage to host extensive lithium-bearing structures, positioning it as a cornerstone asset within Brunswick’s exploration portfolio.

Focus on Canadian Lithium Exploration

As a Montreal-based mineral explorer, Brunswick has established itself with a strong focus on grassroots lithium exploration. With the Mirage Project now fully secured, the company is better positioned to build long-term value in the lithium supply chain. Its strategy remains aligned with growing demand for battery materials, particularly in Canada’s resource-rich regions.
