Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (ASX:URW) Appoints New Chief

A premier global developer and operator of leading destinations, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (ASX:URW) has appointed Jean-Marie Tritant as Chairman of the Management Board of URW and Group CEO, succeeding Christophe Cuvillier on 1 January 2021.

In an ASX announcement made on 18 November, the company declared that Tritant has resigned from his position as Chairman of the Management Board and Dominic Lowe is appointed Chief Operating Officer US along with the chairman of the Management Board of URW, with effect from 19 November 2020.

Chairman of the Supervisory Board of URW shared that the company is going through a transition phase. Cuvillier elaborated on the same and said that during this transition phase too, he will be there to protect the group and help it navigate thorough crisis.

Meanwhile, URW stock quoted at $4.670 at 03:28 PM AEDT.
