Tabcorp Holdings Limited (ASX:TAH) updated the market on the major outage that impacted its Keno, TAB, and Gaming Services systems and operations from 7 November 2020.
Tabcorp stated that now the services have been restored with immediate attention on ensuring the systems return to optimal service levels in upcoming days.
Moreover, the Company has started a comprehensive and urgent review for this incident.
On the basis of a primary assessment, smoke and fire incident at a 3rd party managed data centre in Sydney caused extensive damage to the servers and associated infrastructure of the Company. This triggered some technical as well as systems outages, including the closure of retail venues of TAH.
