- Stavely completes drilling at Fairview gold targets
- Exploration footprint extended with new sampling
- Focus on deeper drilling campaigns into 2026
Stavely Minerals (ASX:SVY) has provided a fresh exploration update from its Fairview North and South gold prospects, part of the broader Stavely Copper-Gold Project in Western Victoria. The latest program marks a significant step forward in the company's multi-metal exploration strategy, as it intensifies its activities across highly prospective gold zones.
In June, the company completed a seven-hole reverse circulation (RC) drilling campaign at Fairview North. These efforts were complemented by an additional RC hole at Fairview South. While the results from these drill holes are pending, preliminary work has already started to shape the project’s next phase. Field reconnaissance, including detailed mapping and float rock-chip sampling, has extended the known prospect area by approximately 600 meters to the south of Fairview South. The findings continue to build on historical drill data that identified promising gold intercepts in this region.
Looking ahead, Stavely Minerals is gearing up for an ambitious gold-focused exploration push during the second half of 2025 and into 2026. The company is planning a combination of geophysical surveys and air-core drilling to better define prospective margins across Fairview North, Fairview South, and the nearby S41 breccia-hosted gold targets. These campaigns are designed to pinpoint high-potential zones that could host deeper, discovery-driven drilling with RC and diamond methods.
This strategic move aligns with Stavely's broader goal of enhancing the value of its Western Victoria tenure. While copper remains a key asset, the gold potential across these tenements is becoming increasingly prominent. The integration of these exploration fronts positions Stavely as a diversified mineral explorer poised for long-term value creation.
It’s worth noting that while Stavely Minerals is not part of the ASX 100 companies, it continues to draw attention due to its focused efforts in advancing underexplored assets. The company’s systematic approach to expanding and testing gold-bearing structures is aimed at unlocking value across multiple prospects within its Victorian holdings.
With assays due and more exploration on the horizon, the second half of 2025 is shaping up to be an active and potentially pivotal period for Stavely Minerals as it advances its vision for multi-metal resource development.
