Great Southern Mining Limited (ASX:GSN) has appointed Mr Sean Gregory as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GSN with immediate effect. Mr Gregory is a resource industry expert with experience of more than 20 years in developing projects and supporting mining operations with BHP, Murchison Metals as well as Mineral Resources.

He was the Managing Director and CEO of Barra Resources (ASX:BAR) for three years and presently holds the role of Non-Executive Director.

Additionally, GSN has appointed Mr Octavio Garcia as the Head of Exploration in Queensland, who comes with an experience of 25 years in exploration and development. Mr Garcia will be responsible for establishing GSN’s Queensland base of operations

Chief Operating Officer of GSN, Mr Mark Major has resigned from his position after serving the role for the last six months.
