Australian mineral exploration company Viking Mines Limited (ASX:VKA) is set to participate in the International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) in Sydney being held on 29-31 October.
IMARC is Australia's key mining event connecting global mining leaders with technology, finance, and future innovations. This year’s agenda focuses on “Accessing Capital for Project Development, Innovation and Commercialisation”. The conference will cover the entire mining value chain with over 370 technical talks, strategic keynote presentations, and panel discussions. Participants will gain valuable insights from C-suite executives on advancing environmental resilience and ESG initiatives, expediting the energy transition in mining, developing projects and mines, and digitising mining operations.
Viking Mines Managing Director Mr. Julian Woodcock will be representing the company on 29 October 2024.
Presently, VKA is focused on conducting mineral resource assessments at its 100%-owned First Hit Gold Mine. It is located 45 km west of Menzies and 2 hours north of Kalgoorlie in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia. The company believes that the historical site, which yielded around 30,000 ounces of gold at notably high grades, may present significant value given the current high gold prices and the available infrastructure.
The company has also acquired 100% of the Canegrass Battery Minerals Project.
