Established around twenty years ago, Skin Elements Limited (ASX: SKN) is committed to providing natural alternatives to chemical-led industries using its proprietary natural technology – SE FormulaTM, which replaces toxic chemicals in skincare.

The technology applications include the Soléo Organics natural and organic sunscreen, PapayaActivs natural therapeutics skincare, SuprCuvr TGA-registered hospital-grade plant-based disinfectant, and Eco Nurture agriculture bio-stimulant. Products within these groups are undergoing marketing testing and moving to commercialisation. This article discusses these products borne out of the SE FormulaTM technology and its development update.

Soléo Organics

Development of Soléo Organics started in 2001. It is an all-natural sunscreen, which has surpassed all regulatory requirements globally and got approval for sales across the globe.

This sun protection product has had test marketing at the international level. With the completion of the test marketing, the development phase three has commenced.

Presently, SKN is in talks with a retail chain in the UK with plans being finalised for distribution agreements internationally.

PapayaActivs

PapayaActivs is a non-steroidal therapeutic cream, which has been created through the combination of natural pawpaw extract and SE FormulaTM. It includes two ranges; one is therapeutic range of products and other is the cosmetics range. The therapeutic range assists in problems such as dermatitis and eczema. The cosmetic range is for haircare, soaps, skincare, and more general skin treatments.

PapayaActivs is presently under the development phase 2, in which it is focused on improving the formulations and expanding the product range.

SuprCuvr

SuprCuvr, a disinfectant, has demonstrated Log 7 reduction (99.99% effective) against viruses and bacteria in an independent laboratory test. The company is focused in developing the product range of SuprCuvr with the development of biodegradable and compostable wipes.

The product has been included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods and has been certified by NASAA Certified Organic. Recently, SuprCuvr has been proven effective against fungi and mould.

SKN along with Pacific Health Care Pty Ltd has been working to assess the initial market responses and update the packaging presentation, formula potency and competitive pricing structure.

ECO Nurture

ECO Nurture is the most recent product developed from SE FormulaTM. It is an offshoot of the SuprCuvr Hygiene Disinfectant range, designed for agriculture purposes. The product assists in solving issues arising from chemical crop protection.

This product has completed the research phase 1 investigation and prototype formulation and now SKN is undertaking the development phase 2 testing.

After completion of testing stage, the company intends to achieve certification for use in New Zealand.

SKN shares traded at AU$ 0.005 midday on 14 December 2023.
