Revolver Resources Holdings Limited (ASX:RRR) has announced a significant milestone in the advancement of its Dianne Copper Mine Project, located in north-west Queensland. The the completion of the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) for the Dianne Copper Mine supported by a AU$1.3 million grant from the Queensland Government’s Critical Minerals and Battery Technology Fund, marks a key achievement in the company’s plans to fast-track the restart of copper mining operations.
Key Elements of the SX/EW process FEED
The FEED work included the following key elements:
- Column-scale leach testing for both oxide and sulphide ores.
- Production of test cathode copper samples.
- Structural, mechanical, and electrical designs for processing infrastructure.
- Design of the crushing and agglomeration circuit.
- Finalisation of the Process Flow Diagram (PFD).
- Process and instrumentation design.
The successful completion of metallurgical testing and engineering design program provides confidence in the project’s future process mechanics and confirms its overall technical viability.
