Highlights

  • Assay results from the C16 and C5 drill targets confirmed gold-copper signature in the Larramore Belt.
  • All eight holes drilled under the diamond drill campaign intersected substantial zones of hydrothermal alteration.
  • Gold content in these zones points towards the Intrusive Related Gold System (IRGS).
  • The company plans to conduct follow-up field programs for the Larramore Belt in the 2024 field season including further drilling of key targets.

Revolver Resources Holdings Limited (ASX: RRR) has shared assay results from the diamond drill campaign conducted at its Dianne Copper Project. Under the 1,570m campaign, eight holes were drilled on two prime targets, C16 and C5 within the Larramore Volcanic Belt. All eight holes intersected substantial zones of hydrothermal alteration.

The two drill targets, which are 1km apart, returned multiple narrow intervals of highly anomalous gold (up to 0.7 g/t Au) and variable copper (up to 0.05% Cu).

Adding these drilling results with associated geochemical and field mapping results provide evidence of substantial gold content (plus associated copper and cobalt)) within these zones, pointing towards an Intrusion Related Gold Systems (IRGS).

The company plans to conduct an initial ground geology campaign in March 2024, followed by an additional diamond drilling campaign later in the year.

More

In late October 2023, the company finalised a targeted exploration drilling campaign at Larramore that included eight drill holes for ~1,570m.

Data source: Company update

The C5 target included five diamond holes, out of which three holes reported several narrow zones of low-grade gold, 0.1 – 0.7 g/t Au mineralisation linked with quartz veining and disseminated and stringer vein pyrite ± pyrrhotite mineralisation. Some gold mineralisation intervals are co-incident with coper mineralisation of up to 0.05%.

The C16 target, which is located ~1km from the C5 target, included three diamond holes, which returned several narrow zones of low-grade gold mineralisation, ranging from 0.1 – 0.3 g/t Au linked with quartz veining and disseminated and stringer vein pyrite ± pyrrhotite mineralisation.

The narrow stockwork zones intersected at the drill targets ties the gold and copper mineralisation to the gossanous outcrops and highlight the surface geochemical anomalism.

The geochemical signature, the en-echelon patter defined by the gossan outcrops, presence of intrusives and the presence of gold and related elements, is consistent with an IRGS.

Recently concluded gravity gradiometry survey enables further refinement of intrusive targets in the belt.

What’s ahead?

Integrated analysis of the airborne gravity survey conducted over the Dianne High Strain Zone and Larramore Volcanic Belt, electromagnetic, ground geology, soils geochemistry and diamond drilling information would set the scope, timing and priority of the 2024 field program.

RRR shares last traded at AU$0.080 apiece on 31 January 2024.
