Highlights
- Raiden Resources has released aircore drilling results from Arrow Gold Project, completed in November 2024, included 79 holes covering 3,007m.
- Slightly elevated gold (26.5ppb) and arsenic (196.7ppm) values were identified in the southern part of the drilled area.
- Mallina, the joint venture partner, plans follow-up work based on the results.
Raiden Resources Limited (ASX:RDN, DAX:YM4) has announced the results of aircore drilling at its Arrow Gold Project, completed in November 2024. The program included 79 drill holes, covering a total of 3,007m.
The results show slightly elevated gold and arsenic values in the southern part of the drilled area, particularly around hole 24MALAC079, which recorded 26.5ppb gold (Au) and 196.7ppm arsenic (As). These anomalies are associated with felsic intrusions and ultramafic rocks. The central and northern parts of the tenement returned lower gold and arsenic values.
Based on these findings, Mallina Co Pty Ltd, the joint venture partner, plans to conduct lithogeochemical and petrographic studies on the collected samples to determine the next steps for exploration.
Details of Aircore Drilling Program at E47/347
The aircore drilling program at the Arrow Gold Project aimed at evaluating hemi-style orogenic gold targets identified by the company on tenement E47/3476. Drilling focused on targets related to magnetic intrusive bodies, hydrothermal alteration and shear zones. The drilling program focused on six areas considered to have potential for this type of mineralisation. These areas were selected based on soil sampling and magnetic data evaluations.
Drilling was conducted along traverses spaced approximately 640m apart, with holes spaced 160m along each traverse. Depths of the hole ranged between 3 -107m and the average depth was 38m. Drill samples were composited over 4m, with the final sample adjusted to include one metre of fresh bedrock for litho-geochemical analysis.
