Highlights
- Field observations led to visually identified spodumene mineralisation in outcropping pegmatites at Arrow Project.
- To confirm spodumene mineralisation, samples have been collected from the project area and will be submitted for additional XRD analysis.
- Soil sampling analysis is yet to be concluded; results are expected soon.
Raiden Resources Limited (ASX: RDN, DAX: YM4) informed that the ongoing field reconnaissance, sampling and mapping campaign at Arrow Project has visually located spodumene mineralisation in outcropping pegmatites, which lie in the western area of Arrow North.
Data source: Company update
The positve ultraviolet fluorescence testing of samples from outcropping pegmatites on the project provides further encouragement and support for potential spodumene mineralisation.
The company intends to undertake XRD analysis and mineralogical evaluations on additional samples to understand the mineralogy of the project.
Visual Spodumene Mineralisation at Arrow project
Raiden has 100% ownership of the Arrow project gold rights (E47/3476 and E47/3478), as well as the rights to either earn into an 85% position of the Li-Cs-Ta (“LCT”) rights, or purchase 100% of the LCT rights. The project is located within a proven lithium-pegmatite district, covering an area of 223km2. Historical data confirmed the presence of lithium-bearing pegmatites on the project.
The ongoing program across the project focuses on areas which Terra Resources Ltd highlighted via satellite analysis. The program also included an assessment of priority areas directly to the north of the pegmatite discovery by ASX-listed Morella Corporation.
RDN also shared that it has submitted all the soil sample pulps collected from the project area for re-analysis for the LCT suite of minerals. The company believes that pegmatites at the Arrow project might be obscured by sediment cover, and soil sampling analysis may assist in defining further target areas for further follow up.
RDN shares traded at AU$0.039 apiece at the time of writing on 30 October 2023.
