Lithium Universe Limited (ASX: LU7) has reported the opening of a new establishment in Québec.

The company’s subsidiary Lithium Universe Holdings Ltd has expanded its presence in the region with the establishment of a new office in Montreal, Canada.  

Expanding presence in Quebec

The office would allow the company to strategically increase its presence in Québec as it intends to become a significant lithium player in the emerging lithium district. Furthermore, the office would enable LU7 to streamline its operations with major stakeholders such as its engineering partners- HATCH and Primero Group. The company remains committed to advancing its Québec Processing-Hub strategy.

The decision to establish a permanent presence in Québec comes after the appointment of Victoria Vargas as Lithium Universe Holdings’ Director. In Quebec, she will work on strengthening the company’s exposure in the international capital markets while facilitating corporate development opportunities.

Shares of LU7 traded at AU$0.031 apiece at the time of writing on 5 December 2023.
