Recently, the company released its quarterly report for the three-month period ended 31 December 2023. Below are some noteworthy developments that unfolded during the quarter. Have a look!

  • LU7 appointed Hatch Ltd, a renowned global engineering company with extensive lithium experience, to conduct an engineering study for the design of the proposed 16,000 ton per annum battery-grade lithium carbonate refinery, as part of the Quebec Lithium Processing Hub (QLPH) Strategy. Hatch has successfully completed a location study for the optimal site selection for the refinery. The study results highlighted four potential locations in the Québec region. The company has initiated discussions with the Société du parc industriel et portuaire de Bécancour (SPIPB) concerning the Bécancour Industrial Park.
  • The company reported that Primero Group Limited is conducting the engineering study on its multi-purpose concentrator at Québec Hub, at an impressive pace. The final design flow sheet defines a four-stage crushing process to generate crushed ore of 0.85-6mm size. As of now, Primero has delivered a Block Flow Diagram (BFD), Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), a Mass Balance along with Process Design Criteria (PDC).

  • The period saw addition to the company’s North American team and opening of a new office in Montreal.

LU7 shares traded at AU$0.023 apiece at the time of writing on 31 January 2024.
