Highlights

  • Diamond drill hole KSD024 at the Sua Prospect has intersected 280 g/t Au over 0.4 metre within a broader 35.5m zone at 8.59 g/t Au.
  • Drill results confirm a minimum 25 metre extension of the high-grade gold zone at Sua.
  • Idenburg Project hosts a JORC (2012) inferred resource of ~540,000 oz Au at 4.1 g/.
  • Six drillholes completed to date in the ongoing 10-hole program.

Far East Gold Limited (ASX:FEG) has announced assay results from diamond drillhole KSD024. It is the second hole completed in the current drilling program at the Sua Prospect within the company’s Idenburg Gold Project in Papua Province, Indonesia. KSD024 was drilled approximately 25 metre east of drillhole KSD023.

Assay results from KSD023, released on 10 November 2025, highlighted coarse visible gold in a section that returned 82 g/t Au over 0.4 metres, within a near-surface interval of 13.77 g/t Au over 9.8 metres that included 131 g/t Au over 0.8 metres.

KSD024 also intersected coarse visible gold, returning a high-grade assay of 280 g/t Au over 0.4 metres from 24.5 metres downhole. This vein occurs within a wider compiled interval of 35.5 metres at 8.59 g/t Au from 23.5 metres.

These results confirm a minimum 25-metre extension of the high-grade gold zone identified in KSD023. The hole is an infill step between historical drill holes spaced approximately 100 metres apart.

High-Grade Gold Confirmation Strengthens Idenburg Potential

The confirmed presence of high-grade gold with visible gold at the Sua Prospect represents a significant step toward realising the full potential of the Idenburg Project. The occurrence of coarse gold has higher implications for boosting resource development, and the ongoing drilling at Sua is aimed at determining the scale of the vein system and the continuity of its high-grade zones, stated the company.

The Idenburg Project hosts a JORC (2012) inferred mineral resource of approximately 540,000 ounces of gold at an average grade of 4.1 g/t Au, including around 296,000 ounces at 3.7 g/t Au within the Sua Prospect.

The current drilling aims to confirm geological interpretation, continuity of high-grade zones, and expand the resource area. To date, six drillholes for 1,130 metres have been completed, with assays received for KSD023 and KSD024. A total of 10 diamond drillholes for 1,820 metres are planned.

Highlighting the development, FEG’s Non-Executive Chairman, Mr Justin Werner, stated: “The intercept in KSD024 reinforces the geological interpretation for Sua and demonstrates continuity of high-grade mineralisation along strike. Importantly, these high-grade results are occurring near surface, in stacked veins and remain open in several directions. Our focus now is on continuing the disciplined drilling needed to determine the extent of this zone.”

Shares of FEG were trading at AUD 0.165, up ~3.13%, at the time of writing on 24 November 2025.
