Highlights

  • EV Resources is targeting completion and commissioning of the Tecomatlán processing plant within an estimated 10–12 months.
  • The company is advancing third-party ore supply agreements and permit approvals to support near-term antimony concentrate production.
  • Metallurgical testing showed approximately 81% antimony recovery through flotation, outperforming the gravity-only processing route.
  • Phase 1 drilling at the Los Lirios project has been completed, with geological data now guiding Phase 2 exploration targets.
  • Certified laboratory assays at Cofradia confirmed a high-grade intercept of 2.2 metres at 5.20% antimony and validated previous exploration results.

EV Resources Limited (ASX:EVR) has provided an update on its Tecomatlán processing plant and the Los Lirios antimony project in Mexico, outlining progress toward near-term production and exploration activities, respectively. The company is advancing a flotation-based development strategy for the Tecomatlán plant while progressing follow-up work at Los Lirios after completion of the Phase 1 drilling programme.

Tecomatlán Development Targets 10–12 Month Timeline

The company is working towards an estimated 10–12-month timeline to complete and commence operations at the Tecomatlán processing plant. The development plan combines the previously proposed gravity-only and flotation circuits into a single integrated processing facility using third-party antimony ore secured under non-binding memoranda of understanding (MoUs).

Negotiations are advancing to convert third-party ore supply agreements into definitive contracts to support near-term antimony concentrate production. At the same time, the company is utilising existing processing infrastructure to accelerate production readiness while advancing regulatory approvals. The first of two required permit applications, the Informe Preventivo, has been prepared and is expected to be submitted shortly.

The company is also continuing work aimed at shortening the development timeframe where possible.
