Altech Batteries Limited (ASX:ATC, FRA:A3Y) presented its CERENERGY® sodium-alumina solid-state battery technology at Hannover Messe 2025, one of the world’s leading industrial trade fairs. With more than 200k visitors and 6.5k exhibitors, the event provided ATC with a powerful platform to introduce CERENERGY® to key players in the energy storage sector.

CERENERGY® was prominently featured in the Energy Storage Hall, attracting significant interest from industry leaders, investors, and potential partners seeking sustainable, next-generation battery solutions.

Altech held several high-level meetings with energy companies, strategic investors, and industrial manufacturers, receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback. The feedback reflects the growing global demand for advanced battery technologies that offer alternatives to lithium and cobalt-based batteries while also delivering high performance.

The company’s participation in the event aligns with its strategic initiative to attract a commercial partner to help accelerate the commercialisation of its CERENERGY® technology.

The event comes at a time when Germany is intensifying its focus on clean energy and defense, increasing investments in energy security amid ongoing geopolitical uncertainties and EU-US trade tensions. CERENERGY® aligns well with Europe’s push toward industrial resilience and energy independence.

ATC shares were trading at AU$0.038 per share at the time of writing on 4 April 2025.
