Highlights

  • Zeus Resources begins geophysical surveys at its Morocco-based Casablanca project

  • Surveys designed to identify subsurface structures and anomalies

  • Data to inform upcoming exploration and refinement of geological modelling

Zeus Resources Ltd (ASX:ZEU), a mineral exploration company listed on the ASX 200, has commenced a high-resolution geophysical program at its Casablanca Antimony Project in Morocco. The initiative marks a key milestone in the company’s broader strategy to prepare for future drilling activity and enhance its geological understanding of the project.

The program will assist in identifying structural features and mineralisation trends in the shallow subsurface, supporting the company’s efforts in delineating potential drill targets across its North African asset.

Survey Work Focused on Structural and Lithological Mapping

The campaign includes multiple induced polarisation (IP) survey lines using a dipole-dipole array configuration. This geophysical method enables Zeus Resources to image chargeable zones associated with antimony mineralisation. Several profiles are dedicated to evaluating regional geological features such as fault zones, lithological contacts, and alteration corridors.

The surveys also incorporate shorter profiles aimed at mapping localised geochemical anomalies, especially in areas with complex or constrained topography. These profiles are critical for near-surface imaging and detailed resolution of the structural controls influencing mineralisation.

Data to Inform Model Refinement and Drill Targeting

Following completion of the field campaign, Zeus Resources intends to process and analyse the survey results to update the geological model for the Casablanca project. This refined model is expected to guide future exploration campaigns by enhancing the spatial understanding of subsurface mineralisation.

Company Executive Director Hugh Pilgrim described the survey commencement as a key advancement, aligning with Zeus’ objective to strengthen geological confidence before determining drill program priorities. The emphasis remains on integrating geophysical and geochemical datasets to achieve a coherent view of the subsurface mineral potential.

Company Overview and Broader Exploration Focus

In addition to its interests in Morocco, Zeus Resources maintains a portfolio of exploration assets within Australia. The company continues to evaluate and advance its holdings in line with its commitment to sustainable and efficient mineral exploration practices.

As part of the broader resource sector represented on the ASX 200, Zeus Resources’ current field program signals its focus on technical groundwork and data-driven exploration strategies, reinforcing the project’s developmental stage and future exploration direction.
