Highlights

  • Star Copper (CSE:STCU) advances deeper drilling at its flagship project in British Columbia

  • Recent drill hole extends mineralised footprint and confirms subsurface characteristics

  • Multi-year permits enable expanded exploration including surface work and road construction

Mineral exploration activity is gaining traction with Star Copper Corp (CSE:STCU) expanding its operations in the resource-rich Golden Triangle of British Columbia. The company, which operates outside the All Ordinaries index, is progressing its drilling efforts at the Star Project, with recent updates highlighting increasing geological confidence in the project's porphyry-style mineralisation.

Work at the project is designed to unlock deeper zones, supported by newly secured permits that provide for an extensive campaign of drilling and surface exploration.

Third Drillhole Marks Depth Milestone

The latest update features Hole C, the deepest drilling to date at the Star Project. This drillhole intersected consistent chalcopyrite mineralisation within the quartz monzodiorite phase positioned above the Star fault. The result enhances existing models and strengthens the relationship between potassic alteration zones, fault lines, and high-tenor mineralisation.

The extension of the northern copper footprint reinforces continuity in the mineral system and sets a base for future subsurface targets. Field observations and samples are contributing to a growing geological framework guiding upcoming drilling locations.

Surface and Subsurface Programs Bolstered by Extended Permits

Star Copper’s long-term exploration ambitions have been supported by recently extended multi-year, area-based permits. These authorisations allow the company to undertake up to two hundred drill holes, road-building activities, and ongoing surface trenching.

The flexibility granted by these permits will support continued progress through changing seasonal conditions and accommodate adjustments based on live field data. Field teams are engaged across the property, with trenching and mapping being used to inform drill targeting and interpret mineral continuity laterally and vertically.

Ongoing Campaign to Expand Geological Model

Star Copper is currently conducting a drilling program designed to evaluate both lateral and vertical dimensions of previously identified mineralised zones. Historical exploration and technical assessments valued at significant investment have helped shape the company’s phased approach.

As surface work and additional drillholes continue, upcoming assay results are expected to provide deeper clarity around the presence and extent of porphyry-hosted copper systems across the Star Project.

What is the significance of Hole C at Star Copper’s project?
It is the deepest hole drilled to date and confirmed consistent chalcopyrite above the Star fault.

How are Star Copper’s exploration efforts supported?
The company holds multi-year permits allowing extensive drilling, trenching, and infrastructure development.

What region is the Star Project located in?
The project is situated in the Golden Triangle of British Columbia, a known mining jurisdiction.
