Silver North Resources initiates private placement to support exploration efforts
Funds allocated for programs at Haldane, GDR, and Veronica claims
Warrants included in each unit to support long-term development plans
Silver North Resources (TSX-V:SNAG), an active participant in North America’s mineral exploration sector, is advancing its development footprint in the Yukon Territory with a new round of private placement funding. The explorer operates across the historic Keno Hill District, an area recognised for its extensive silver output and long-standing mining history.
This latest financing initiative underscores Silver North’s commitment to strengthening its on-ground exploration across multiple high-interest targets in the region.
Private Placement to Support Multiple Yukon-Based Projects
The company has announced a private placement round aimed at raising funds for its Haldane and GDR mineral properties. The initiative includes charity flow-through units, with each unit comprising a common share and a half warrant. The included warrants will grant access to future share purchases within a designated period, aligning with the company’s strategy to secure longer-term financial flexibility.
The proceeds are earmarked for field activities such as mapping and geochemical sampling, particularly at the Veronica claims area. This stage of work is designed to enhance the understanding of soil anomalies and support broader exploration objectives.
Veronica Claims Program Strengthened by Government Support
Silver North recently received financial backing from the Yukon Mineral Exploration Program to progress its summer exploration campaign. This support enables fieldwork focused on a multi-element soil anomaly, which includes soil sampling, mapping, and prospecting techniques tailored to the regional geological profile.
Such activity is instrumental in preparing for more targeted future work and refining priority zones for drilling, leveraging data-driven methodologies in one of Canada's richest silver-bearing districts.
Legacy and Scope of Keno Hill District Operations
The broader Keno Hill District, where Silver North holds substantial claims, has a long legacy of silver extraction, having delivered substantial historical output over multiple decades. With more than eight thousand hectares under license, the company continues to build on a foundation of historical resource richness and geological potential.
