Highlights

  • Pantoro Gold Ltd reports multiple high-grade intercepts from ongoing drilling at the O2 orebody

  • Drilling confirms continuity of mineralisation and unveils deeper mineralised structures

  • Ongoing exploration supports long-term resource growth at Norseman Gold Project

Pantoro Gold Ltd (ASX:PNR), a precious metals explorer listed on the All Ordinaries, has announced encouraging results from its diamond drilling campaign at the O2 orebody within the OK Underground Mine. The mine forms part of the company’s 100%-owned Norseman Gold Project, located in Western Australia.

Recent drilling has returned several high-grade intercepts that reinforce the geological consistency of the orebody. These results are expected to further support ongoing development and mill feed planning.

High-Grade Results Extend Depth and Strike of O2 Lode

The latest intercepts highlight the strong grade and structure of the O2 lode, particularly at its northwestern extent. One notable drill hole intersected mineralisation at a depth significantly below the current development level, showcasing deeper continuity than previously confirmed.

The campaign forms part of a broader infill and extensional program targeting both the O2 and Star of Erin lodes. Four underground rigs are currently operating across Pantoro’s Norseman assets, with the OK Underground Mine receiving consistent focus due to its historical and ongoing production profile.

Linking Structures Offer Enhanced Exploration Upside

Beyond high-grade gold values, the program has also revealed a new linking structure between two strong ore domains, offering additional exploration dimensions. This structural interpretation supports further targeting and may enhance the scale and quality of future mineral resource updates.

Recent intersections beneath the Star of Erin mineral resource area point to ongoing system growth, with drill results confirming gold-bearing vein continuity in biotite-altered zones.

Historical and Geological Overview of the OK Mine

Located approximately two kilometres from the Norseman Processing Plant, the OK Underground Mine has a rich legacy of production dating back to the early twentieth century. Since resuming operations in 2022, it has remained a significant source of high-grade feed within the broader Norseman system.

Geologically, the mined reefs in the OK area strike predominantly northeast to east, dipping sub-vertically. Mineralisation typically occurs within laminated quartz veins surrounded by altered host rocks, with gold frequently found in free-milling form. The reefs are among the highest-grade structures within the Norseman district, with current mechanised operations delivering robust results.

Norseman Project Anchors Pantoro’s Growth Strategy

The Norseman Gold Project encompasses a vast footprint over the southern portion of the Norseman-Wiluna greenstone belt. Pantoro has established a modern processing facility and continues to expand its resource and reserve base through aggressive exploration.

The company’s strategy is geared toward production growth with expanded drilling and underground development forming the backbone of its forward plans. Upcoming campaigns are expected to further enhance confidence in the project’s long-term potential.
