Many Peaks confirms extended mineralisation at the Ferké Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire
Aircore drilling results support larger reverse circulation and diamond drilling plans
Ground surveys and follow-up exploration activity to further assess lithological structures
Gold and copper explorer Many Peaks (ASX:MPK), listed on the All Ordinaries, has reported new developments from its Ferké Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire. The company has confirmed extended gold mineralisation along a major corridor through a recently completed aircore drilling program.
The findings enhance Many Peaks' regional mapping and structural modelling efforts, further solidifying its exploration strategy across a broader mineralised system.
Aircore Program Highlights New Intercepts Across Wide Drill Zones
The aircore program at the Ferké Gold Project spanned several kilometres and included shallow drilling at various intervals. Results demonstrated widespread anomalous gold zones, intersecting favourable lithologies and mineralised intrusions. These intercepts were observed along multiple drill lines, pointing to a larger underlying system than previously defined.
According to project updates, the shallow weathered zone yielded more encouraging mineral intersections than initially expected, based on earlier structural assumptions. These intercepts are now instrumental in delineating follow-up exploration across adjacent corridors.
Reverse Circulation and Diamond Drilling Programs Underway
Following the success of the aircore results, Many Peaks has expanded its reverse circulation (RC) program, which now covers a significantly broader area. The RC drilling is being used to refine zones of interest identified in the aircore phase, particularly where high-grade mineralised structures are thought to converge.
Additionally, a diamond core drilling initiative is progressing at the Ouarigue prospect within the same project area. Data from both drilling programs is currently pending laboratory analysis, which is expected to support the next stages of geological modelling and structural mapping.
Geophysical Surveys and Project Advancement Strategy
Alongside drilling activity, Many Peaks is implementing ground geophysical surveys to aid in subsurface interpretation and further vectoring toward potential bulk tonnage targets. These surveys are integral in confirming mineral continuity and understanding the structural fabric that hosts the gold system across the Ferké tenement.
The company’s operational focus remains on integrating geotechnical data, drilling logs, and geophysical results to support broader project planning efforts and ensure continuity of exploration work across its West African assets.
Strategic Focus on West African Gold-Copper Portfolio
Many Peaks continues to develop a diversified portfolio of mineral exploration projects across West Africa. Its activity at Ferké aligns with its long-term focus on systematic resource development. The recent advances and program expansions reflect ongoing efforts to delineate economic zones within a prospective and historically underexplored region.
