Dart Mining reports highest grade gold intercept to date at Big Hans within Triumph
Diamond drilling confirms mineralisation at depth with new structural insights
Exploration to expand targeting corridor between Big Hans and Super Hans zones
Dart Mining (ASX:DTM), a mineral exploration company listed on the ASX 300, has announced the highest-grade drill intercept to date at the Big Hans prospect within its Triumph Gold Project in Queensland. The project is situated in the New England Fold Belt, an area recognised for its structurally complex and mineral-rich geology.
The company continues its focus on advancing precious and critical metals exploration across Eastern Australia.
Record Intercept Supports Depth Extension Model
A new diamond drillhole has returned a significant intercept, including a high-grade gold interval that surpasses all previous assays from the site. The result supports the company’s model of mineralisation extending at depth, particularly within structurally defined zones of interest.
The company reported that structural data gained from recent drilling efforts is improving target precision, supporting ongoing drilling activities aimed at unlocking additional depth and strike extensions.
Ongoing Work to Define Corridor Between Big Hans and Super Hans
Dart Mining’s exploration team is actively investigating how the southern extensions of mineralisation connect between Big Hans and nearby Super Hans. Structural insights are now guiding exploration planning as the team progresses interpretation of corridor continuity.
Current drilling has focused on the down-plunge extension to the south of Big Hans. The company has completed over a dozen holes, with further work aimed at refining the geological model and evaluating the continuity of high-grade zones.
Expanded Program Targeting New Zones and Resource Growth
Beyond the southern corridor, Dart is set to drill test beneath the Triumph project’s southern mineralised belt and an adjacent chargeability anomaly. These tests are expected to provide deeper geological insights and define targets that may contribute to future resource expansion.
The program also includes a regional exploration component to identify and assess additional high-priority targets. The company is planning an exploration target for the Triumph Project based on drilling in less densely sampled areas. These results will guide resource estimation and exploration strategy.
Strategic Focus on Eastern Australia and New Project Assessments
In parallel with drilling activity at Triumph, Dart Mining is reviewing further exploration zones throughout Central Queensland. This includes assessing advanced-stage assets and joint venture scenarios aligned with the company’s critical and precious metals strategy.
The Triumph Gold Project’s geological profile continues to be validated through drilling and structural modelling, enhancing the company’s knowledge of the mineralised system and its potential for future development. Dart Mining remains committed to expanding its regional footprint and adding value through technically driven discovery programs.
