NOVONIX Limited (ASX:NVX) revealed a breakthrough research from the collaborative research with Prof. Mark Obrovac’s group at Dalhousie University.

This breakthrough research applies for cathode and anode materials manufacturing for lithium-ion batteries termed as DPMG (dry particle microgranulation).

NVX disclosed that patent applications protecting the DPMG process have been filed by NOVONIX under the commercialization arrangements with Prof. Obrovac and Dalhousie University.

Post announcement the shares of NVX skyrocketed by ~38% to close the market at AU$0.450 on 15 May 2020.
