JB Hi-Fi Updates on Q3 FY20 Sales And COVID-19 Impact on its Business

JB Hi-Fi Limited (ASX:JBH) has provided an update on Q3 FY20 sales and COVID-19 impact on its business.

The Group during the period reported strong sales growth in Australia which continued in April 2020 and early May. JB HI-FI and The Good Guys offered customers with the home appliances and technology products required for working, learning and entertainment while they are at home.

In New Zealand, after the initiation of alert level 4 ban on non-essential items, JBH New Zealand’s 14 stores, online as well as commercial businesses were shut on the 26 March 2020.

However, on 2 April 2020, the online and commercial businesses resumed trading to give customers with a restricted number of essential products by contactless home delivery.
