APT Underlying Sales Soar by 105 per cent Against pcp, Stock up by ~17%

Afterpay Limited (ASX:APT) reports underlying sales at $7.3 billion year to date, up by 105 per cent against the previous corresponding period (or pcp) and suggests that the growth rate remains in line with H1 FY20 compared to H1 FY19.

  • APT also reports that March was the third-largest underlying sales month on record, and the income margins for March and for FY20 YTD are higher than H1 FY20.
  • The Q3 FY20 underlying sales surged by 97 per cent against pcp.
  • However, APT estimates the gross loss for March to be about 1.0 per cent.

BY AEST 12:10 AM, the APT stock surged 17.523% and was trading at $25.855.
