The Warriors' halves depth is in for another test after Dylan Walker received a two-match suspension for his head slam on Melbourne recruit Eliesa Katoa.
Walker, who had replaced the injured Te Maire Martin at five-eighth, found himself sent to the sin bin for the shot just before halftime of the Storm's 30-22 Anzac Day win.
On Wednesday morning, the match review committee charged Walker with grade two dangerous contact and offered a two-match ban, which will increase to three games if the utility unsuccessfully challenges his charge at the judiciary.
With Martin sidelined until round 15 with a leg fracture, the Warriors look set to recall Ronald Volkman to partner Shaun Johnson in the halves.
The 20-year-old Volkman has played only three NRL games but Luke Metcalf, the only other out-and-out half on the Warriors' roster, is sidelined indefinitely with a hamstring injury.
Sydney Roosters enforcer Victor Radley has escaped suspension for a high shot that divided opinion in his side's tight Anzac Day win over St George Illawarra.
The Dragons had all the momentum and were dreaming of a comeback when Radley, a repeat offender, was sent to the sin bin for his shot on Michael Molo in the 63rd minute.
The Roosters managed to cling on despite the Dragons' numerical advantage, and after their 27-26 victory Radley claimed the challenge amounted to nothing more than a head clash.
The match review committee have charged him with a grade one careless high tackle and offered a $3000 fine.
Given his record, he will miss two matches should he unsuccessfully plead his case at the judiciary.
