Deloitte Names Aussie Start-Up No.1 from Technology Fast 500

Deloitte, for the last 25 years, has been honouring the fastest-growing technology companies through its pre-eminent technology awards program. In the APAC region, Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ is in its 18th year.

To get recognised as a Technology Fast 500 winner reflects the company’s efforts and dedication while providing an improved visibility, brand recognition, as well as growth prospects. This time the winner of Deloitte Technology Fast 500™, list of the fastest-growing tech start-ups in the APAC region, is an Australian media company “WithYouWithMe”. For the first time in fifteen years, an Australian company was named the number one on the list.

The winner of the Technology Fast 500 award is picked based on the percentage fiscal year revenue growth during the period from 2016 to 2018 or period 2017 to 2019 for those companies whose financial year ends between January and June.

In order to get qualified for the award, participants need to either have proprietary IP (intellectual property) or technology that is offered in products that make up for most of their operating revenues. Companies must have operating revenues in the base year of a minimum of US$50k. Other than this, the company is required to be in the business for at least 3 years and headquartered in the APAC region.
