GQG Partners (ASX:GQG) share price gains over 5%, recovers previous losses

ASX-listed diversified financials company GQG Partners Inc. (ASX:GQG) announced its funds under management (FUM) numbers as at 31 March 2022 on the ASX today (7 April 2022). A growth in the FUM in comparison to previous month end, is visible across the various equity segments dealt by GQG. Also, its Q1 flows represent positive net flows from all three of its major channels and multiple geographies, notably Australian and Canadian retail.

Prior to the announcement GQG share price remained in red, closing at AU$1.395 a share on Wednesday, 6 April 2022. However, post announcement, the GQG share price has managed to gain some upbeat momentum and is trading over 5% to trade at AU$1.48 a share by 10:35 AM AEST.

Details of GQG Partner’s FUM

GQG Partners’ FUM, as of 31 March 2022, rose to US$92.9 billion which reflects over 3% growth from the end of February. The investment manager also reported net inflows for the quarter of about US$3.4 billion, which it received despite the challenges posed by macro environment factors.
