Monger Gold Ltd (ASX:MMG) has provided an important update regarding its name change to Loyal Lithium Limited.

On 31 October 2022, the Company received shareholder approval for the name change. Following this development, the Company's name has officially changed with the Australian Securities and Investments Committee (ASIC).

The new company name became effective on the ASX on Thursday, 3 November 2022. Loyal Lithium Limited also started trading under the new ASX listing code, LLI on the Australian Stock Exchange on 3 November 2022.

Triggered by the update, LLI shares jumped nearly 13% to trade at AU$0.575 on 3 November 2022.

CEO Adam Ritchie highlighted that the name change signifies the Company's transition with a major focus towards lithium assets.

All current ordinary shareholdings in Monger Gold Ltd have been re-assigned to Loyal Lithium Limited.  

Lithium project portfolio in top mining jurisdictions

Loyal Lithium is a resource exploration company with projects in the James Bay Lithium District in Québec, Canada and Nevada, USA. These are among the top mining jurisdictions in North America.

The Company intends to define JORC-compliant resources through the systematic exploration of its projects.

As of now, the Company’s lithium project portfolio includes the following:

Scotty Lithium Project – The 78.1km2 project located in Nevada, USA, shares border with the Bonnie Claire Lithium deposit, which is one of the largest lithium resources in the US.  

Brisk Lithium Project – The Québec-based project sits within the prolific James Bay Lithium District. The project, which hosts multiple known pegmatite outcrops, has six prospects covering 98.5km2.

Trieste Lithium Project - The large-scale lithium project contains multiple mapped pegmatites, favourable indicator minerology all within close proximity to Winsome Resources’ (ASX:WR1) Adina Lithium Project, which recently recorded high-grade lithium assay results of up to 4.89% Li2O.
