Saracen Minerals Holdings Limited (ASX: SAR) is a gold mining company, engaged with exploration for gold and nickel deposits and development of mineral properties in Australia. Its subsidiaries are Saracen Metals Pty vLimited and Saracen Gold Mines Pty Limited. The company was founded in 1987 and is domiciled in Perth, Australia.

On 20 February 2019, the company released its Corporate Presentation. In the presentation, the company mentioned that its Lost time injury frequency rate had come down to 0.4 as on 31 December 2018, from 1.0 on 30 June 2018. SAR is aiming towards increasing production to 400koz per annum, from the growing Australian operations in its Projects namely Carouse Dam and Thunderbox. The FY19 group’s guidance was mentioned between 345 to 365,000oz at AISC of A$1,050 – 1,100/oz. Recently, SAR had released its half-year financial report ending 31 December 2018, where it had mentioned that the company’s cash and equivalents stood at A$142.6 million.

Its subsidiaries are Rosemont Gold Mines Pty Ltd, LFB Resources NL, Duketon Resources Pty Ltd etc.  It was founded in 1988 and headquartered in Subiaco, Australia.

In its recently released half-year financial results for the period ending 31 December 2018, the company recorded Net profit after tax standing at $79.9 million. The net profit margin of 25% demonstrated the continued profitability of its Duketon’s operations. The revenue stood at $317.12 million, with 186,276 ounces of gold sold at an average price of $1,696 per ounce. The EBITDA stood at $146.4 million with a very strong EBITDA margin of 46%. The Cash flows from operating activities stood at $126.5 million. The Cash and bullion (including bullion on hand-classified as inventory) of $206.7 million, was in accordance with the cash and bullion balance on 30 June 2018.

It has a market capitalization of A$2.75 billion with circa 507.82 million shares outstanding. Gold Road Resources Limited (ASX: GOR) is into the work of exploring and developing mineral properties across Australia. The company’s subsidiaries include of Gruyere Holdings Ltd, Thatcher’s Soak Uranium Pty Ltd and Gold Road (South Yamarna) Pty Ltd. The company was incorporated in 2007 and is headquartered in Perth, Australia.

On 21 February 2019, GOR published a presentation to provide general information about the company. The company mentioned about Gruyere Joint Venture between GOR (50% stake) and global producer of gold, Gold Fields Ltd (50% stake). The construction work in Gruyere is currently progressing. Also, the Gruyere Plant would be unlocking Australia’s next major gold mine. It has 12 years long mine life averaging around 300 Koz pa (on 100% basis) and AISC of A$1,025/oz (US$745/oz). The Ore Reserve rose to 3.92 million ounces, while mineral resource rose to 6.61 million ounces as per the company’s ASX update on 13 February 2019.

It has a market capitalization of A$864.54 million with circa 877.71 million shares outstanding.
