Mogul And Razer To Co-Partner Silver Slam With A Prize Value Of AUD 2,75,000

Esports Mogul Asia Pacific Limited (ASX: ESH) is into the domain of e-sports business. The company recently announced to launch a brand-new tournament series ‘Silver Slam’ in February 2019 with its partner Razer Inc. The prize value for the winners of the tournament will exceed AU$2,75,000.

The tournament will host several daily casual competitive matches, and professional tournaments weekly, throughout the month, in both current Mogul-integrated titles and several additional e-sports games. Silver Slam will include additional e-sports games with current Mogul combined titles.

The managing director of Esports Mogul, Gernot Abl said that the company is excited to host and offer a tournament series of huge magnitude in 2019 with integration of new titles and a large prize pool. The tournament will set a platform for Mogul and Razer to work cooperatively and enhance user acquisition and increase the brand awareness.

The company currently operates in major e-sports titles which includes Counter-Strike, Global Offensive and Dota 2. It is also seeking to extend its title catalogue to include additional PC, mobile and console titles, which will support the tournament. These titles, however, will be announced early January 2019.

The CEO of Razer Min-Liang Tan mentioned Mogul as an opportunity and key way to win Razer Silver. Razer Silver are reward credits for gamers, awarded by the Razer. These reward credits can be exchanged for full Razer hardware, various discounts on Razer stores, lifestyle products including food vouchers etc.

The company recently made a new issue announcement. The issue will include Class A performance right issue of 12 million shares and Class B performance right issue of 1.4 million shares. These have been issued to employees and the operating subsidiary under the employee incentive plan. The company made an application recently for the quotation of additional securities to be issued. The announcement included the details for the new issue including the class of securities, principal terms, number of securities to be issued, the rank of the securities, issue price consideration and the purpose of issues, etc.

The company’s stock closed at $0.019 on ASX 200. The stock offers a YTD of 35.71% till date. However, over the last six months it has produced a negative return of 20.83%. The stock has a 52-week high and low of $0.036 and $0.011 respectively. The current market capitalization of the company is 24.12 million.
