Dicker Data Appointed as Distributor for LG Commercial Displays

Dicker Data Limited (ASX: DDR) announced that it has been appointed as a distributor for the full range of LG Commercial Display products in the Australia market. This new distribution agreement comes into effect from August 01, 2018. According to the management, the expansion of its partnership with LG Commercial displays is a natural extension of business for many of its reseller partners and a product that they have received strong demand for in the recent time. Moreover, the addition of LG commercial display will help to expand the market reach in the region.

As per the LG Electronics Australia management, this deal will be mutually beneficiary for both parties wherein DDR’s reseller partner will be benefited from the access of LG’s premium products like OLED and UHD displays while LG Electronics will get chance to increase its distribution footprint in the market. Further, DDR has stock on hand which is ready to fulfill customer orders effective immediately.

With this news, the stock edged up 1.003 per cent with the intra-trading volume of over 86,000. The stock traded at $3.02 with the market-cap of circa $480.16 Mn as on August 01, 2018 (AEST: 3:30 P.M.).
