BOULDER, Colo., July 1, 2024 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Floify, the mortgage industry’s leading point-of-sale (POS) solution, today announced that Sofia Rossato, its president and general manager, has received two new honors, being named to HousingWire’s Women of Influence and Inman’s Best in Finance list. The Inman award is the second in a row for Rossato.

Rossato was tapped to lead Floify in Spring 2022, soon after the popular mortgage point-of-sale company’s acquisition by Porch Group. Taking the helm of a fintech company during a historically brutal housing market, Rossato has proven her mettle as a leader by strengthening Floify’s market footprint with customer empathy and business acumen.

Since taking over at Floify, Rossato has infused new life into the popular mortgage point-of-sale (POS), overseeing the rapid rollout of features that help its lenders and broker customers optimize operations and improve borrower service. Last fall, she greenlit a verification of income and employment waterfall workflow and oversaw the launch of Floify Broker Edition in December 2023, followed by Floify Lender Edition in March 2024.

Prior to Floify, Rossato was managing director and COO for the billion-dollar information division of $17B fintech, IHS Markit. She also was CEO of SnapEngage, an omni-channel messaging platform and early adopter of AI.

HousingWire’s Women of Influence program was launched in 2010 to recognize women making notable contributions to both their businesses and the industry at large — with a specific focus on contributions during the most recent 12 months.

Inman’s 2024 Best in Finance list, now in its second year, honors professionals hand-selected by Inman’s editorial team for their role in shaping the mortgage and financial services industries through leadership and commitment to innovation.

“I am deeply honored by both of these awards and want to thank and recognize the small but mighty team we’ve assembled here at Floify for getting us here. These awards truly belong to all of us,” says Rossato. “I’m proud of the products we’ve launched during the past 12 months and the business value they are providing to mortgage lenders and brokers at a time when we all need to contain costs and boost productivity. We are proud to be leading this charge for our customers.”
