The HIGH token was down 7.45% to US$3.78 at 10:26 am ET on Friday.

What Is HIGH (Highstreet)?

Highstreet is an open-world, decentralized commerce-centric metaverse, a virtual space for shopping, gaming, etc. One can also trade NFTs and play MMORPG games. Users can socialize with other players, attend social events, and shop NFTs from real-world brands on the platform.

MMORPG is an online multiplayer role-playing video game. Highstreet also has a marketplace where users can buy and sell digital products like in-game NFTs.

Additionally, the Highstreet metaverse offers virtual real estate where real-world brands can set up their homes, shops, clubs, etc. 

Players can purchase homes in its core regions in the metaverse, including Binance Beach, Avax Alps, Highstreet City, Republic Realm, etc.

In February this year, Highstreet launched an initial home offering (IHO) of 2500 homes, ranging from Studios to Luxury Suites, with various benefits.

Players can also join and play in the metaverse from different platforms such as VR, PC or mobile phones. 

The most happening place is its NFT marketplace, where all in-game items are represented as NFTs, and users can either purchase or use them in the game. They can buy NFTs as actual items. 

To ensure the legitimacy of the items, Highstreet uses an authentication process so that only verified and trustworthy sellers can join the platform.

Though MMORPGs have their in-game currency, Highstreet also has two in-game currencies, HIGH and STREET, to run its in-game economy. 

HIGH is the native token used for governance, in-game access to special events, game progression and buying special items on the Highstreet marketplace.

The other utility token is STREET, which is acquired by completing various tasks in the game. It serves as the primary currency for commerce in the game and is used for buying weapons, armor, travel tickets, and hotel stays.

HIGH has 1,514 holders, and its current market capitalization is US$46.5 million. The circulating supply is 12.3 million, and the total supply is 100 million.

The token is supported by Trust Wallet, MetaMask, and Binance Chain Wallet and is available for purchase at Binance, Mandala Exchange, Bitget, Hotcoin Global, and BingX cryptocurrency exchange. It got listed on Coinbase earlier this month.
