MUMBAI, Dec 16 (Reuters) - STOCKS: The benchmark BSE Sensex fell 84.67 points, or 0.14%, to 61,714.36, following an overnight selloff in U.S. equities on concerns over growth. RUPEE: The Indian rupee declined to 82.83 to the dollar from 82.76 in the previous session on safe haven demand for the U.S. currency. GOVERNMENT BONDS: Benchmark 10-year bond was quoted at 99.85 rupees, with yield up 1 bps at 7.2797% ahead of fresh supply of debt through a weekly auction. OVERNIGHT INDEXED SWAPS: The one-year overnight indexed swap rate was down 1 bps at 6.62%, while the benchmark five-year swap rate rose 1 bps to 6.26%. CALL MONEY/REPOS: India's overnight call money rate was up 75 bps at 6.45% against 5.70% in the previous session. The overnight TREPS rate was at 6.35%, compared with the previous day's weighted average of 6.1720%. (Reporting by Nimesh Vohra)
