Proteome Sciences (AIM:PRM) is pleased to announce that it has secured a contract with a US-based biopharmaceutical company for the provision of mass spectrometry services. The Company anticipates that a significant portion of the project will be completed within the current financial year and continue into 2026.
This latest contract win follows the announcement in April 2024 of the first contract with this customer. Richard Dennis, Chief Commercial Officer of Proteome Sciences, remarked on the growing demand for GCLP-compliant services from both US and European biopharmaceutical clients. He emphasized that this contract represents a targeted assay to monitor drug performance during a clinical trial, reinforcing the Company’s expanding footprint in the clinical trial services sector.
Proteome Sciences has built a strong reputation for its mass spectrometry services, particularly in the area of clinical trial sample analysis, where GCLP accreditation is crucial for compliance with regulatory standards. The contract with the US biopharmaceutical company is expected to generate further interest from similar organizations, positioning Proteome Sciences for continued growth in this specialized sector.
The Company anticipates additional contracts to follow in 2025, further establishing Proteome Sciences as a trusted partner in the biopharma industry for clinical trial sample analysis. This contract win marks another milestone in the Company’s strategy to expand its commercial offerings and strengthen its position in the global biopharmaceutical market.
