Vinacapital Vietnam Opportunity Fund Limited reports a drop of 2.3% in USD NAV H1 FY19

Vinacapital Vietnam Opportunity Fund Limited (LON: VOF) has released its results for the period 1 July 2019 to 31 December 2019.
  • In the reported period, the USD NAV of the Company dropped by 2.3 per cent on a per-share total return basis, however, the share price of the company increased by 2.5 per cent.
  • The company also reported that, partially due to the strengthening of the GBP over the period, in sterling (GBP) total return terms, its NAV sank by 6.0 per cent and the share price declined by 1.5 per cent.
  • As at 31 December 2019, the share price discount to NAV declined over the reporting period and stood at 11.9 per cent compared to 16.0 per cent as at 30 June 2019.
  • On 27th March 2020, at the time of writing, GMT 08:03 AM, VOF shares were trading at GBX 240.00, down by 2.50 points or 1.03% against the previous day closing price.
