On May 29, 2020, S&P/NZX50 ended the session in green as there was an increase of 0.24% to 10,882 while, on the same day, S&P/NZX10 rose by 0.18% to 11,344. S&P/NZX20 witnessed a rise of 0.23% to 7,312.

S&P/NZX All Information Technology witnessed a rise of 5.50% while S&P/NZX All Energy witnessed a fall of 3.72%.

A Recent Update on SPY

Smartpay Holdings Limited (NZX: SPY) has recently made an announcement about the intention to offer shareholder share purchase plan (or SPP) to the eligible existing Smartpay shareholders with the registered address in Australia or NZ, allowing them to subscribe for up to NZ$32,200 / A$30,000 of new Smartpay shares. The SPP would be subject to overall cap of A$2,000,000 and oversubscriptions would be scaled back accordingly. The issue price of new shares would be A$0.42.

The company stated that SPP would be enabling the company’s non-institutional shareholders in New Zealand and Australia to participate as well as potentially increase relative percentage holdings in SPY.
