Two new cases of COVID-19 in NZ

On 16th June 2020, the Ministry of Health reported two new cases of COVID-19 in the country. Two women who recently arrived from the UK through Australia were confirmed with COVID-19.

  • One woman experienced mild symptoms, the other was symptom-free;
  • Both women are self-isolating in the Wellington region;
  • The total number of confirmed cases is now 1,156 and the numbers of recovered cases remains at 1,482.
