Some indicators look up as NZ enters alert level 3

As per Stats NZ, as the country is eased from the strict restrictions at level 4, maximum movements of kiwis are reported from the main centres. New Zealanders are using more fuel and power, whereas weekly exports are held up.

Government has launched a new webpage, Covid-19 data portal to monitor 40 near-real-time economic indicators to show the impact of the pandemic. The government webpage will be kept updated.

In alert level 3, more businesses like construction work and restaurant takeaways have started working again.
