NZO Receives Approval for Ironbark Environmental Plan

New Zealand Oil & Gas Limited (NZX:NZO) has been advised by the Operator BP, that the Ironbark Exploration Drilling Environment Plan (EP) has been approved. The JV is expected to start drilling in October 2020. Exploration permit WA-359-P is situated in the Carnarvon Basin, offshore Western Australia, about 50km from the current North West Shelf LNG infrastructure.

The Ironbark-1 well is anticipated to drill to about 5500 meters and shall be the first test of the Ironbark gas prospect. The company has 21% participating interests in WA-359-P Ironbark.
