NZ to Build A More Sustainable Construction Sector

Minister for Building and Construction, Jenny Salesa has announced a new programme for the building and construction sector to aid them in the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

Jenny Salesa said that the sector contributes a significant amount of carbon emissions to the overall NZ's carbon emission. If we are serious about reducing the emission and achieving carbon zero by 2050, such bold plans are needed.

The new program will decrease greenhouse gas emissions during the construction work while people live and work in these buildings.
