NZ Government has signed a 1st trade agreement to concentrate on topics exclusively concerning to the digital economy. As per David Parker, the Trade and Export Growth Minister, the Digital Economy Partnership Agreement signed with Singapore and Chile was appropriate, provided COVID-19’s influence on how the international trade is handled.

  • The agreement covers business and trade facilitation measures and issues of consumer trust;
  • It shall encourage online consumer protection and focus on emerging trends and technologies.
