NZ Government allocates $2.5Mn under Provincial Growth Fund for three projects in Whakat?ne

Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters and Under-Secretary for Regional Economic Development Fletcher Tabuteau have announced an investment of $ 2.5 million by the Provincial Growth Fund (PGF) for expediting three infrastructure projects including Riverfront Revitalisation, Commercial Boat Harbour, and K?inga development in Whakat?ne, New Zealand. The aim behind the investment is to promote jobs, enhance community confidence and improve local infrastructure to achieve economic growth on strong foundations and support Whakat?ne’s recovery from Covid-19.
