New Zealand’s Plan to Eliminate the cattle disease Mycoplasma bovis is in Good Shape

As per Damien O’Connor, Agriculture and Biosecurity Minister, the country’s world-first plan to eliminate Mycoplasma bovis, a cattle disease is on track. The EDR (Estimated Dissemination Rate) now stands at 0.4, which was more than 2 at the start of the outbreak. This clearly shows that M.bovis is not endemic in national herd.

They currently have seventeen active properties and about 232 properties have been cleared of the disease.
