New Zealand, Indonesia Build Ties During COVID-19 Pandemic

Foreign Minister Winston Peters has said that NZ is strengthening its international partnerships and engagement with regional leaders like Indonesia. He said such ties are more important than ever.

Two-way trade between NZ and Indonesia has increased to NZD 2.38 billion in the year ending June 2020. Both the countries discussed the impact of the pandemic in their respective countries and shared views on regional issues.

New Zealand and Indonesia are committed to building better ties in the future.
